	Musicians Salem An entertainer and classically trained musician since the age of four, prairie-born Salem Jones is the creative force behind Jones. She is unlike many other rock singers in that she checks her motives daily and doesn't take her image too seriously, enjoying her roles as songwriter and producer as much as that of lead vocalist. However, the drive and intent when she delivers a song is about as serious as a heart attack. Seeing her live, or hearing her on record, it's easy to see why she was once voted one of Edmonton's Favourite Performing Artists in See Magazine's Best Of Edmonton. Jag Highly talented and extremely introverted, Jag Mollerup is indeed an enigma. His abilities as engineer / producer / technician are amazingly as great as his guitar playing. He has studied music formally his whole life, but like Salem, tries to get away from theory to hear the notes within. He graduated from the GMCC recording program in the early 90's and is brother to well-known luthier and jazz/classical bassist Laurence Mollerup. A self-professed "gear junkie" he's always on the hunt for something to augment his tone, but seems to have settled for being in love with Marshall and Fender as well as a couple of million other toys, eh Jag? :>) Todd Todd Pretty lends his thunder to the drum chair in Jones as a true Canadian musician. And brother the man has thundering skills; he'll shake your bones and make you weep with emotion all in one song! Born in Newfoundland (waaaaaaaay out on the east coast of Canada) he moved waaay west to Ft. MacMurray, Alberta, when he was just a wee lad. He grew up with about a million siblings and was lucky enough to be enamoured of his older brother's record collection. Influenced by those old school rockers: Rod Stewart, Steve Miller, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Queen, he started playing drums when he was 15, but his calling came really young, "I was four years old…I wanted to be a rocker." Todd has played with some serious original rock bands in Edmonton, most recently Shattered Core, and fits perfectly in Jones because when he tells you what he lives for this is what he says, "Playing my drums….to get to play again and again.
